Remodeling the Home of the Founders Parkway
The Founders Parkway is one of the most loved areas of Las Vegas. Located in between Southwestern Las Vegas and the Paris Las Vegas Boulevard, it is a short drive to the world famous Las Vegas Strip. The beautiful scene that you can see there is not only found on the Strip. Beautiful landscaping can be found on the Parkway including an asphalted walkway that has wooden planks that lead to Castle Rock.
One of the most intriguing features of the Founders' Parkway's paving is the comparison with other similar works that have been completed in Las Vegas. The stone bench is situated near the entry point to the parkway, and is situated between two stone pillars. In contrast to the other Las Vegas parksways, the rectangular shape of this bench is more common than the traditional round shape. Concrete was used along the perimeter of the bench to create a diverse array of interesting designs. Concrete patios are available in six different patterns.
Concrete tabs are two of the concrete pavers that are part of the design. These concrete tabs are like the typical concrete patio you will find in Las Vegas. Concrete used for the Castle Rock section of paving is color-coated to blend with its surroundings. But, the concrete isn't overwhelming to distract from the natural beauty of the area.
The remaining three concrete segments of the design are made from large rock forms. Each of these rock shapes are colored to make them stand out against the concrete. To differentiate this section from the concrete that surrounds the parkway the concrete used is red. The concrete used for the project has eleven colors. The Parkway is like a separate environment than the rest of the area because designers used so many different hues.
The replacement of concrete walkways and ramps at the ground level with granite pavers was a major improvement to the construction of Castle Rock's section of Las Vegas Strip. These pavers made of granite have an exclusive color pattern that blends nicely with the surroundings. While providing more appealing appearance, the granite makes it easy to walk on and gives the driveway a smoother feeling when it rains.
A covered walkway is yet another improvement to the Las Las Vegas Strip's style. The walkway covers the beach's exposed roots, preventing residents from walking on the bare roots. The design helps to prevent erosion by allowing rainwater to flow into the sea. A concrete sealant isn't required since the walkway's concrete is already in place. Instead the pavers are coated by a special, waterproof material that is slip and heat resistant.
Castle Rock has a wonderful climate. The climate is semi-tropical with warm summers and mild winters. It is a great location to plant plants since the soil is sandy. There are many varieties of plants, including evergreens, shrubs and desert flowers. The land slopes to the south, creating a cooler area for residents.
The picnic area made of stone at eastern end of driveway offers residents with a view of Strip and an area for tranquility. You can get away from the hum and bustle of the floor and relax on the bench made of stone. Because of the stone, the bench is not only functional, but also a sight to behold. If you walk along the deck's edge to eat your lunch or enjoy the sun's rays on the Strip you'll be amazed by that the stonework brings the outside to life.
