Remodeling the Home of the Founders Parkway
One of Las Vegas' most loved areas is the Founders Parkway. It is situated in between Southwestern Las Vegas and the Paris Las Vegas Boulevard, it is a short drive to the famed Las Vegas Strip. It's home of stunning scenery, but not just the Strip. The Parkway is a beautiful landscape as well, including the paved walkway that is lined featuring wooden planks, which leads towards the rock formation referred to as Castle Rock.
One of the most intriguing aspects of the layout of the paving along the Founders Parkway is that of its design in relation to other public works of the same nature within Las Vegas. The entryway to the parkway features a stone bench that is set between two pillars of stone. The bench is, however, unlike other Las Vegas parksways, the rectangular design of this bench is more popular in comparison to the conventional circular shape. The perimeter of the stone bench, concrete has been used in a variety of interesting patterns. Concrete patios are available in six different patterns.
Concrete tabs are among the concrete pavers included in the design. The concrete tabs are like the concrete patios in Las Vegas. The concrete that is used to design the Castle Rock section of the pavement is colored to make to blend into the surroundings. While at the same time, the coloration is subtle enough that the concrete does not over-power the natural beauty that is found in the area.
The remaining three concrete segments are made of huge rocks. Each of these large rocks shapes are colored to make the rocks stand out from concrete. The concrete used in this particular section of the project is colored red to distinguish it from the others of the concrete areas that are situated around the parkway. The project's concrete design is made up of eleven different shades. The Parkway is like a different environment from other developments because designers used so many different hues.
Another significant change that occurred in the construction of the castle rock section of the Las Vegas Strip was the replacement of the ground-level concrete sidewalks and ramps by granite pavers. These granite pavers feature distinct color patterns that blends nicely with the surrounding environment. Granite pavers are more appealing over the others. They are also easier to walk on and provide the driveway with a smoother feel in the rain.
A covered walkway is a further change to the Las Vegas Strip's layout. The covered walkway was intended to protect residents from walking on the exposed roots of the beach lined with trees. This design prevents erosion, and also allows rainwater to enter the sea. Because the concrete on the walkway is in the ground, there isn't a requirement to apply a concrete sealant put on the concrete surface. Instead, the pavers have an exclusive waterproof material that's non-slip and heat resistant.
Castle Rock offers a great climate to live in. The climate is semitropical with mild winters, and warm summers. The soil is sandy and is perfect for planting plants. There are many varieties of plants that include evergreens, plants, as well as desert flower. The land slopes towards south and creates a cooler zone for residents.
The stone picnic area at eastern end of driveway offers guests a stunning view of the Strip as well as a place to enjoy rest and relaxation.
